Day 29-Love–A Day Late, a Dollar Short, Better Late than Never! ;-)
I know I’ve been a bit MIA these past few days, so I missed the last 2 posts for June! It’s been a very busy weekend, and will be pretty busy until I leave next week for “vacation” to see family, Ā go to a few weddings, the Minnesota version of my grandparents 65th Wedding Anniversary and 90th Birthday celebration. I am DETERMINED though to catch up with all my posts before I leave (this would include posts for days 29 & 30 for the photo challenge, 2 movie reviews, 1 restraunt review, 1 food item review, and the conclusion and results of the #IWillRockThis Challenge that just concluded this past weekend!) Whew! I WILL GET THIS DONE!!!Ā There are others I’d like to get completed, but those are the ones I feel I HAVE to get finished as they are somewhat time sensitive. So here is Day 29– LOVE

Day 28- Home
If you have not noticed by now, I LOVE the outdoors… when I’m at home is no different. I am constantly in either the front yard or backyard watering or trimmingĀ the flowers, roses, and fruit treesĀ in the gardens. Here is my little helper that likes to oversee what I am doing. He will follow me around where ever I am; Ā if I’m in the front he’ll be somewhere around watching me from a safe distance (since heaven forbid he get wet!), then when I go inside to go to the backyard,Ā there he’ll be, under a tree or sitting back relaxing on one of the loungeĀ chairs just chilling while I work! lol So here’s Moe, on a lazy summer morning.Ā Ā š
Day 27- Nature
Last September I took a trip up to Lassen Volcanic National Park with a couple of friends. It was aĀ very speedy trip through Lassen, but one cannot missĀ how extremely beautiful of aĀ place this is, as it isĀ filled with nature and wildlife galore! Just click on a picture to see it closer up to see what I mean. You will want to take a look at these for sure! I cannot wait to go back and explore the place and take more time to wander around and enjoyĀ mother nature asĀ it was intended.Ā š
Day 26-Silly
Who toilet paper’s the “Adults” tack room at the barn?? What a silly question….. us “kids” do!!! We’re just “Horsing Around” as usual at the barn. Ā LOL š
Day 25- Collections
I have quite the collection going of ribbons that I’ve won at horse shows… here are just a few of them from one horse show I rode in that we were “Champion” in our division for the day.Ā š
Day 24– Toys!
Who doesn’t like toys? I don’t think we ever outgrow toys to some extent. Even as adults, we have certain things we just don’t want to give up! š
Here’s Mary from Along Comes Mary showing me all the Beanies that Jamie from Minnesota Girl in LAĀ had in her car that we all just adored. How can you not adore them? They are soooĀ freaking cute, come in many differentĀ popular characters, and are just the right size as they do not take up much space!Ā I have to admit, I have a ton of these in boxes lying around my house as well from back in the day when they were the thing to have. š
Day 23–Need to Get Rid Of….
Ok, so you might think this is silly coming from a girl whoĀ loves to spend hours upon endless hours at the barn, a place filled with dust and dirt galore…. but I CANNOT stand DIRT OR MUD!! I can tolerate it, but it does not mean I like it! I hate feeling all grimyĀ and dirty. LOL I am constantly trying to wash off the dirt with the water from the horses waterers at the barn. Or from the hose by the wash racks.Ā Ā Not to mention how all the dirt and dust flying around the barn (or anywhere else for that mater) makes me sneeze like no other?! Also, when the pups, especially Shiloh here, who LOVES to play in the mud/dirt, gets all nice and dirty like this… you know that’s always a blast to clean up after!!! š So I would just love it if I were able to get rid of all dirt and mud that is floating around, not serving a real purpose other than to just be a nuisance and to make messes!
Day 22- Can’t Live Without
One thing I cannot live without is traveling and exploring this amazingĀ planet with a loved oneĀ or with friends. There is nothing better than sharing a new place, trying new foods, exploring a city, making new friends and new memories with family and friends.
Switzerland is such a BEAUTIFUL country!! Definitely one of my most favorite places EVER!

Day 21– Future
In just a few short weeks, not too long into the future I will be returning back to Minnesota and North Dakota to visit family, celebrate my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary (which is actually today, June 21st, 2012!!! WOW!), a summer wedding in Medora, North Dakota and a 90th birthday! Here are some treasuredĀ memories ofĀ my visits out to these parts of the states, and I look forward to the new ones in the future! Who knew you could have so much fun in these states? š

My favorite girl out in North Dakota to hang out with to go out on a ride with. Aero! *DISCLAIMER* This picture shows you what NOT to do when riding…. lol. You should ALWAYS wear closed-toe shoes with a heel if possible and a helmet!! Long pants are always a plus to, but as I had gone for a swim and was in a hurry to get one last ride in before we had to head for the airport, and my riding gear was all packed up ready to go;Ā I just hopped on and went for a quick ride. I know this horse very well, and am a fairly experienced rider, so it worked outĀ for that situation in that moment in time. š
For anyone out there that thought there is nothing to see or do out in Minnesota or North Dakota, now you see just a handful of fun opportunities waiting for you out in them here states! So get out there in the great outdoors!! š I sure cannot wait to see what fun this next trip will bring! ā¤
